International Programs
Nauru has been involved in case management and mediation workshops as part of the 2012 AusAID funded Pacific Judicial Capacity Development Program. The Federal Court provided assistance in creating a system of court-annexed mediation including holding training workshop in 2014.
The Court facilitated a work placement for an administrative officer of the Supreme Court of Nauru in August 2015. Through skill and knowledge sharing, this placement aimed to enhance understanding of administrative and financial systems of the Federal Court to assist the operation of these systems in the Supreme Court of Nauru.
A number of activities have been held in Nauru as part of the Pacific Judicial Development Programme (PJDP), details of which can be found on the Programme’s website.
