Historical Costs from 1993
From 1 August 2011, legal costs are set out in Schedule 3 of the Federal Court Rules 2011. Prior to that, legal costs were set out in Schedule 2 of the Federal Court Rules.
The following table sets out the amendments made to the schedules from 19 April 1993.
The relevant fee for each item of work is the fee set out in the schedule at the time the work was performed. For example, the fee for preparing an ordinary letter (item 21) on 1 May 2003 will be the fee for that item prescribed in Schedule 2 as at that date.
