Travel allowance

You may be entitled to recover travel costs if you travel more than 30km to attend the Federal Court of Australia for jury service. The Federal Court of Australia may also require you, as part of its COVID-19 control measures, to use alternate travel means to public transport to attend court. Should this be a requirement, you will be advised in writing of your entitlement for travel costs.

In order to make a claim for travel costs, you will need to complete a Travel Claim form and provide supporting documentation. If you intend to make a claim for travel costs, you can obtain a form by contacting the Federal Court of Australia via the contact details set out in this form.
