Event: 2025 Native Title Forum

Practitioners are invited to attend the Court's 2025 Native Title Forum, to be held in Brisbane and livestreamed nationally.

Sessions:

  • Welcome and introduction by Justice Rangiah
  • Indigenous land rights and native title: past, present and future
  • Challenges, innovations and solutions in the native title system
  • Conflicts between lawyers and anthropologists in native title law
  • The mistakes lawyers make in briefing expert  witnesses.

Time: 10 am to 3.30 pm (AEST)
Venue: In person at Brisbane (Court 1, Level 7), and livestreamed nationally 

Morning tea and lunch is provided to attendees in Brisbane.
