Reissued Practice Note
Lists of Authorities and Citations Practice Note (GPN-AUTH)
This practice note has been amended. The amendments require eBooks of authorities to be prepared and filed in accordance with eBooks Practice Note (GPN-eBOOKS). The requirement for the List to be divided into Part A and Part B has been removed.
The intention is that in accordance with eBooks Practice Note (GPN-eBOOKS) books of authorities will continue to be filed in electronic format. The applicant's List must be filed and served five business days before the hearing date, and the respondent's List four business days before the hearing date. A jointly (or where not reasonably practicable, separately) consolidated List and eBook of authorities containing copies of the authorities included in the List should be provided to the Court two business days before the hearing date. The eBooks Practice Note (GPN-eBOOKS) and accompanying Technology Resources provide technical guidance on the provision and filing of large eBooks.
It is intended to amend the Federal Court Rules 2011 to reflect the requirements of eBooks Practice Note (GPN-eBOOKS).
